About Perry, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Ralls County, Perry is a small community found in Northeast Missouri. With a population under 700 residents, this city has all the charm of the rural Midwest wrapped up in a small package. Modern history of Perry goes back to 1866, when the community was first platted and named for William Perry Crostwaite. Perry is proud to provide residents with services equal to those found in larger communities, offering a good mix of industrial, commercial, and retail businesses.

There are several interesting places to visit in Perry. Only minutes from Mark Twain Lake, Perry residents enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, as it is often regarded as the lake’s Southern Gateway. Arlington Antiques is a great place to find some local treasures, and other specialty shops include The Mason Jar, Hobbie Hut, MJ’s Flip Flop Resale, and Garden of Angels. There are also several restaurants in Perry, including Junction Restaurant & Lounge, Rick’s Place, and The Hootenanny Café.

The rest of the region is also rich in history. Perry is located only 15 minutes away from the Mark Twain Birthplace and Museum, which honors the most famous citizen of the region – Samuel Clemens. Historic Hamilton is also about 30 minutes away, which is where Clemens lived during his childhood.

The Perry area is known to experience four different and distinct seasons throughout the year – a common staple with humid subtropical zones. HVAC installation and repair professionals recommend that residents invest in regular climate control system maintenance to ensure that their units will work properly when needed. During the summer months, for example, daytime highs often reach into the 90s with high humidity, so the right central air conditioner is a necessity for optimal comfort. Likewise, winter weather is cold and can fall below freezing, so it is crucial that residents have access to a gas or electric furnace that is in proper working condition.
